Kindred Spirits Gin Subscription
Kindred Spirits was Applewood Distillery’s gin subscription. It offered a surprise gin each month that heralded a native botanical.
I took Applewood Distillery’s existing logo and extended it’s look to the Kindred Spirits subscription product sub-brand.
Inspired by the distillery’s 1920’s building, I used a typewriter-like industrial document style.
In stark contrast to the balance and restraint of the core products, the Kindred Spirits range is textural and haphazard - while still being balanced and thoughtful - showcasing the experimental nature of the gins.
The Kindred Spirits subscription sold out during each season’s limited drop.

I used Frontify to develop, organise and maintain an up-to-date location for partners and stockists to find assets to market Applewood products.
Including:
Tagged and searchable product and venue imagery
Brand guidelines and logo assets
Typography guidelines and examples
Cocktail recipes
Product sell-sheets
The result: The Applewood products were better presented in the marketplace than similar craft competitors, with high-resolution and up-to-date product imagery.
